Occupational Therapy Support for Schools

We offer specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapy services to schools through flexible, bespoke contracts, supporting settings to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional sensory and developmental needs.

Working in partnership with school staff, we contribute to the early identification of needs and provide practical, evidence-informed strategies to support pupils’ access to the curriculum, engagement in learning, and overall wellbeing. This may include in-school assessment, targeted intervention, environmental recommendations, and staff training.

Our approach focuses on building staff confidence and capacity, promoting inclusive practice, and supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation. This enables schools to create calm and structured learning environments where pupils feel supported and are able to achieve their potential.

Provisions are designed to complement existing systems and support schools in demonstrating a graded approach, strong quality of education, and effective support for pupils with SEND.
